Infinite Golf
How golf became a calling, a ministry, and an invitation to serve people well.
If you had told me years ago that golf would become one of the greatest passions of my life, I would have laughed.
For years, a close friend kept inviting me to play. Every time he asked, I thought the same thing: Why would anyone spend hours chasing a little white ball around? Eventually, I gave in. One round was all it took. I fell in love with the game. It challenged me, humbled me, frustrated me, and kept pulling me back.
At the time, I was attending college with plans to become a physical therapist. Like many people, I thought I had my future mapped out—or at least I thought I did. Then golf entered my life, and looking back now, I can clearly see God directing my path long before I realized He was.
I immersed myself in the game, took lessons at Silo Ridge Golf Course in Bolivar, Missouri, practiced relentlessly, and improved quickly. Before long, I was working at a golf course and eventually had the opportunity to attend PGA Professional training in Florida. I loved the game, but I had no idea that God was preparing me for something far greater than golf itself.
Around that same season of life, I started attending a small church. One day, a man challenged me to read my Bible for 30 minutes every single day. He held me accountable by having me text him after I finished reading. He was doing the same thing with nearly 30 other men, and everyone knew who had read that day and who hadn’t.
If I’m being honest, I accepted the challenge for one simple reason—I hate losing. I’m incredibly competitive. At first, I wasn’t reading because I deeply desired God. I was reading because I didn’t want to be the guy who skipped a day.
So every day I opened my Bible, checked the box, and sent the text.
But God had something far greater in mind.
As the days became weeks and the weeks became months, something happened that I still struggle to fully explain. The Bible stopped feeling like words printed on a page. The Word of God became alive.
Scripture began speaking directly into my heart. Passages I had read before suddenly carried depth and meaning I’d never seen. God began revealing His character, exposing areas of my life that needed to change, showing me His grace, His mercy, and His incredible love.
Hebrews 4:12 says that “the word of God is living and active.” I didn’t just read that verse—I experienced it.
Ironically, the competitive desire to simply “check a box” every day became the very tool God used to completely transform my life.
Then I came to Matthew 28.
Jesus’ command to “go and make disciples” hit me differently than it ever had before. I realized He wasn’t just speaking to pastors, missionaries, or church leaders.
He was speaking to me.
That realization changed everything.
I wanted Jesus to be more than just my Savior—I wanted Him to truly be the Lord of my life. I began studying what it meant to be a disciple and eventually started a men’s Bible study centered around biblical discipleship. Week after week, I watched God transform lives—including my own.
Looking back even further, I can remember the very first time I sensed God calling me. I was around 10 or 12 years old during a church service. The pastor invited people to give their lives to Christ, and I remember becoming overwhelmed with emotion. I couldn’t stop crying, and I honestly didn’t understand why.
Now I do.
God was calling me long before I understood what He was doing.
Years later, God placed another idea on my heart.
A mobile golf simulator business.
Honestly, it scared me.
The investment was significant. Hardly anyone around me was doing it. I questioned whether it would work or whether I was about to make a very expensive mistake.
For a while, I wrestled with those questions.
But after prayer, conversations with trusted friends, and a growing conviction that God was leading me, I decided to stop letting fear make the decision.
I stepped out of the boat.
Infinite Golf was born.
From the very beginning, I knew this business wasn’t just about golf.
Golf is simply the vehicle.
People are the mission.
Every event is an opportunity to go wherever God opens a door, love people well, serve with excellence, and reflect Jesus Christ.
Whether it’s a birthday party, fundraiser, corporate event, church gathering, school function, wedding, or even a bachelor party, my prayer is always the same—that people leave feeling encouraged, valued, welcomed, and loved.
One experience especially stands out.
During a bachelor party event, an older couple noticed the simulator from a distance and walked over to ask what it was. As we talked, they asked how I came up with the idea for Infinite Golf.
That simple question opened the door for me to share that this business wasn’t my idea—it was God’s.
As we talked about Jesus and why Infinite Golf exists, the bachelor party guests nearby quietly listened in. What started as curiosity about a golf simulator became a conversation about Christ.
Moments like that remind me exactly why this business exists.
Another moment that deeply impacted me happened during a church event. I found myself talking with one of the pastors about struggles I was personally facing. Had Infinite Golf never brought me there, that conversation may never have happened.
He prayed over me.
He encouraged me.
He spoke life into me.
Proverbs tells us that life and death are in the power of the tongue, and that moment shaped how I want to run this business.
I want every setup, every handshake, every conversation, and every event to be an opportunity to speak life into people.
I don’t care what you look like.
I don’t care what you’re wearing.
I don’t care what language you’ve used.
I don’t care if you’ve never swung a golf club in your life.

Some people step into the simulator embarrassed because they think everyone is judging them.
The truth is, most golfers miss plenty of shots.
So when someone makes solid contact with the ball for the very first time, we’re celebrating it.
Why?
Because encouragement changes people.
I want every person who walks away from an Infinite Golf event to say more than, “That was fun.”
I hope they say…
“There was something different.”
“I felt welcomed.”
“I felt encouraged.”
“I felt like I belonged.”
If people leave feeling that way, then I believe we’re accomplishing exactly what God has called us to do.
From the very beginning, I also felt called to make this business about more than profit.
Who I am apart from Christ isn’t the story I want people to remember.
Who I am because of Christ is.
Everything I do is ultimately about glorifying Him.
Golf was the invitation that captured my attention.
God’s Word transformed my life.
Infinite Golf is simply one of the ways I get to combine both—creating unforgettable experiences while pointing people to the One who changed everything for me.
